Sorry, got a bit too excited there for a minute. Literally, haven’t blogged in almost a year. What. Why. How. Well, honestly I have no idea what has happened. All I can do now is move on and hope I can maintain my writing, because I have missed it so much. Hopefully you’ve noticed the lovely remodel of the website! I quite like it and it is definitely more fitting with my 21 year old self now than my old site was.
Anyways, I’m currently studying abroad at a uni in Greater London and am two months in. It’s been quite an experience so far, and at first I tried blogging in a travel journal but realized I quite like having everything on here instead.
I must say, studying abroad in another country, alone, with hardly any close friends or any idea what you’re doing along with no job or the hobbies you’re used to back home is a challenge. A wonderful blessed challenge but one nevertheless. Which is honestly why I think I’ve run back into the open arms of my little old blog here. I have no creative outlet besides this and my brain is on overflow. Typically, at my uni back home, I will have hour long piano sessions, my theatre fraternity and some acting here and there and the creative conversations of fellow theatre folk. Here, I don’t have those things and my heart is aching for it.
Besides that, I’m doing quite well in England. I’ve just got back from my two week long spring break broke as I thought I would be, and decided to dedicate this Sunday to myself, my thoughts, and my writing. All whilst listening to the echo’s of screaming from the first years running about on my floor. How lovely.
If you’d like to see what I’ve been up to abroad my Instagram account is linked to the site and ill link my youtube channel if you want to check it out! I’ve put up some new content and have been playing around with my camera and editing to fulfill my creative thirst.
This was sort of just an update, and a “Hey I’m alive and I’m back yay!” sort of post. I will be continuing thoughtful advice/opinion posts and also updates on my life with photos and sorts!
I gotta be honest, it feels great to be back.
Until next time,
